Project Portfolio
A quick look at some client websites. Click on any project below to see the backstory and the tools I used to build them.
Prayer Launchout
Niche: Faith & Spiritual Reflection Blog
Design Style: Minimalistic
The Project
Shawne needed a calm, distraction-free site to share her personal thoughts, books, and reflections with her prayer community. I built her a minimalistic WordPress site to make sure her words remained the primary focus.
To bring her vision to life I integrated:
A Minimalistic Theme: To keep the focus on her words so readers can reflect without distraction.
Wordfence Security: Part of and effort to cut back on heavy comment spam she was experiencing.
Yoast SEO: Behind-the-scenes search engine optimization.
Forminator: Custom forms for her readers to get in touch.
Hustle: A newsletter subscription popup to help her build her reader community.
Town of Winn Maine
Location: Winn, Maine (Penobscot County)
Industry: Municipal Government
The Project
Municipal websites are known for being cluttered and hard to navigate. The Town of Winn was looking for the exact opposite: a place where residents could easily check town office hours, find phone numbers, see emergency alerts, and get the documents they need.
How I Built It
Because town websites handle lots of documents and information, I focused on document organization, simple navigation, and strong security.
To keep the town running smoothly online, I integrated:
WP File Download: Organized a digital library of printable PDFs – including meeting agendas, town minutes, annual reports, tax maps, and municipal surveys.
UpdraftPlus: Set up off-site cloud backups so the town’s news, historical records, updates, and files are safe, even if someone accidentally hits the wrong button.
Wordfence Security: Installed a firewall to protect town and resident data.
Frazier Signal Technologies
Location: Veazie, Maine (Serving Statewide)
Industry: Infrastructure, Traffic Safety, & Municipal Services
The Project
Frazier Signals handles traffic signal repairs all over Maine including 24/7 emergency calls. I built them a fast-loading WordPress site that includes a space to share their project updates.
How I Built It
I kept things lightweight using native WordPress Gutenberg blocks so the site loads instantly out in the field.
To make the site work specifically for their team, I integrated:
A Blog Layout: A news section where they can post about recent safety improvements and community projects.
Modula Galleries: To show off their bucket trucks and their fantastic crew in action.
Yoast SEO: So local Maine towns can easily find their services and articles.
WP Customer Reviews: To display real, verified feedback from local clients and municipalities.
Full Gospel Tabernacle
Location: Lincoln, Maine
Industry: Church & Community Non-Profit
The Project
The Church wanted a place to showcase upcoming church events and stream their live YouTube services.
How I Built It
I focused on video integration and making sure their backend email was setup so the community could contact them without issue.
To tie it all together, I integrated:
Live YouTube Video Streaming: A video layout so anyone who isn’t able to make it in person can easily watch live services right from the site.
The Events Calendar: A community calendar to keep all members and the public on the same page about Church events.
Ninja Forms : Designed custom prayer request and contact forms.
